There are some extremely exciting sporting events taking place around the world this week. The Boston Celtics host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday, the Florida Panthers face the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals on Tuesday, and Wednesday will see West Indies go head-to-head with England in the T20 World Cup Super Eights Phase. Italy take on Spain on Thursday and the Netherlands clash with France on Friday in the UEFA European Football Championship.

Heading into the weekend, Royal Ascot reaches its final day on Saturday with the highlight being the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee II Stakes, and the prestigious Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.

NBA: Boston Celtics v Dallas Mavericks

The Boston Celtics face the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday at TD Garden. The series is currently 3-1, after the Mavericks won 122-84 at home in the last matchup. The Celtics can clinch the championship with a victory.

NHL: Florida Panthers v Edmonton Oilers

Tuesday sees the Florida Panthers take on the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals at the Amerant Bank Arena. Florida were disappointed in their push for a Finals sweep, dropping Game 4 8-1 breathing some life back into the Edmonton Oilers. The Panthers can secure the title with a win.

T20 World Cup: West Indies v England

Wednesday will see an exciting match in the T20 World Cup, as West Indies clash with England in the Super Eights at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium. Meanwhile, England, despite a shaky start, have found some rhythm and hope to be peaking at the right time.

UEFA European Championship: Spain v Italy

On Thursday, there is exciting UEFA European Football Championship action, as the reigning Champions, Italy, face Spain at the Arena AufSchalke. Both teams have taken an early lead in their Group of Death and will look forward to this game knowing a win will almost certainly guarantee their place in the next round.

UEFA European Championship: Netherlands v France

Red Bull Arena, Leipzig

The Euros continue on Friday with an exciting matchup between the Netherlands and France at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. The Netherlands came from a goal down to beat Poland 2-1 in their opening match on Sunday. France, meanwhile, is seeking a third European Championship trophy after a disappointing campaign in the last edition, they are many pundits’ favourite for the title.

Flat Racing: Royal Ascot Day 5

Royal Ascot reaches its climax on Saturday, with three Group races, including the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, a six-furlong race, draws some of the world's top sprinters. It’s also the sixth leg of the Global Sprint Challenge, providing a fitting close to a sensational week at the Ascot Racecourse.

Formula 1: Spanish Grand Prix

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Barcelona

On Sunday, the Formula 1 season continues with the Spanish Grand Prix race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. It promises to be another thrilling race, as the chasing pack continue to try to close the gap on Red Bull and Max Verstappen.
