This Week in Sport: 24th June − 30th June 2024
There are some huge sporting events coming up this week. On Monday, the Florida Panthers take on the Edmonton Oilers in the deciding game 7 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final, Tuesday sees Chile battle Argentina at the Copa América, and the State of Origin Series continues on Wednesday with Game 2. The World Cup of Darts begins on Thursday, and Friday will see Toulouse face Bordeaux Bègles in the Top 14 Final.
Going into the weekend, the T20 World Cup concludes with the Final on Saturday, and an exciting Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.
NHL: Florida Panthers v Edmonton Oilers

Copa América: Chile v Argentina

The tournament concludes on Sunday with England, the Netherlands and Wales amongst the favourites.
Top 14: Stade Toulousain v Bordeaux Bègles

The Top 14 reaches its climax on Friday as Toulouse face Bordeaux Bègles in the Final at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille. Defending champions Toulouse will be chasing a 23rd Top 14 title and will be hoping to add to their European Rugby Champions Cup title to make for a sensational season. Bordeaux, on the other hand, are aiming for their first ever Top 14 Championship.
T20 World Cup: Final

The Formula 1 season continues on Sunday with the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Max Verstappen secured his third consecutive Spanish Grand Prix victory on Sunday as he prevailed in a tense battle with Lando Norris. You can expect similar excitement at the Austrian Grand Prix which should be a great race.
