The upcoming week is filled with exciting sports events. TGL: New York Golf Club v The Bay Golf Club

The TGL, created by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, will begin its inaugural season on Tuesday with the New York Golf Club taking on The Bay Golf Club on the opening night at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens. The League features six teams and 24 PGA Tour players. McIlroy will play for Boston Common Golf and Woods for Jupiter Links Golf Club.

Carabao Cup: Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool

Wednesday will see Tottenham Hotspur play Liverpool in the 1st Leg of the Carabao Cup Semifinals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Tottenham, without a win in their last four matches, will be determined to break their streak with a home victory. Liverpool, on the other hand, have suffered just one defeat all season in all competitions and will aim to keep their strong form intact.

NBA: Memphis Grizzlies v Houston Rockets

The Memphis Grizzlies will take on the Houston Rockets in the NBA on Thursday at the FedExForum. The Grizzlies, currently third in the Western Conference, will aim to close the gap on the leaders with a crucial victory. The Rockets, sitting second in the Conference standings, will come into the game confident after a 119-115 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

NCAA College Football: Texas v Ohio State

Friday 10th January 12:30AM GMT (11th)/6:30PM Local Time

AT&T Stadium, Arlington

Friday sees the Cotton Bowl Classic between Texas and Ohio State in the semi-final of the NCAA College Football Playoff at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Penn State will take on Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl and the other semi-final on Thursday. The winners of the two games will move onto the National Championship game, which will take place on 20th.

NFL: Houston Texans v Los Angeles Chargers

The NFL Playoffs begin on Saturday with the Houston Texans taking on the Los Angeles Chargers, in the first game of the Wild Card Round, at NRG Stadium. The Texans secured the number 4 seed in the AFC by winning the AFC South, while the Chargers earned the number 5 seed, as the top wild card side in the AFC, after closing the season with three straight victories.

FA Cup: Arsenal v Manchester United

Sunday 12th January 3:00PM GMT/3:00PM Local Time

Emirates Stadium, London

The week ends with Arsenal hosting Manchester United in the Third Round Proper of the FA Cup at the Emirates Stadium in London. Arsenal, the record 14-time FA Cup winners, will aim to add another trophy to their collection. Meanwhile, defending champions, Manchester United, are without a win in their last five matches across all competitions and will be eager to turn their form around with a victory.
