The ultimate goal for these teams is to claim the coveted championship title and the million-dollar prize. The high-tech F50 catamarans reach speeds exceeding 50 knots (57 mph) and are powered solely by wind energy, making <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-sailing/competition-sailgp">SailGP</a> a truly sustainable and exhilarating sporting event.
