The <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/competition-caribbean-premier-league">Caribbean Premier League</a>, also known as CPL, is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. This highly anticipated event features the top cricket teams from the Caribbean islands, including <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-barbados-tridents">Barbados Tridents</a>, <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-guyana-amazon-warriors">Guyana Amazon Warriors</a>, <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-jamaica-tallawahs">Jamaica Tallawahs</a>, <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/team-st-kitts-and-nevis">St. Kitts and Nevis</a> Patriots, St. Lucia Zouks, and <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cricket/team-trinbago-knight-riders">Trinbago Knight Riders</a>. Each team consists of some of the best players from around the world, making CPL a truly global competition. Some notable players who have participated in CPL include Chris Gayle, Dwayne <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-football/team-bravo">Bravo</a>, and Andre Russell. The tournament has a total of six teams, with each team playing twelve matches in the group stage. The top four teams then advance to the playoffs, where the top two compete in the final for the ultimate title. The winner of CPL is awarded with the coveted CPL Trophy and a spot in the Champions League Twenty20. Matches are held in various stadiums throughout the Caribbean, including the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad and the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/stadium-queens-park-oval">Queen's Park Oval</a> in <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-tennis/team-barbados-1">Barbados</a>.
