The Tour de Romandie, also known as the Tour of Romandie, is an annual professional cycling stage race held in the Swiss canton of Romandy. It is part of the <a href="https://www.fixturecalendar.com/sport-cycling/competition-uci-world-tour">UCI World Tour</a> and attracts top riders and teams from around the world. The race typically consists of six stages, including a prologue and several mountain stages, covering a total distance of around 700-800 kilometers. Past winners of the Tour de Romandie include renowned cyclists such as Chris Froome, Alejandro Valverde, and Lance Armstrong. The race takes place in late April or early May and is organized by the Swiss Cycling Federation. The route varies each year but always ends with a challenging individual time trial in Geneva, making it a thrilling finale for both riders and spectators.
