This Week in Sport: 6th December − 12th December 2021
The first full week of December is full of exciting sport and one fans will not want to miss. On Monday, in the NFL, the Bills take on the Patriots. The following day on the other side of the Atlantic, Porto host Atlético Madrid in an important match in the Champions League. Wednesday marks the start of the 72nd Ashes Series, with the first Test taking place in Brisbane.
Thursday will see the Carolina Hurricanes take on the Calgary Flames in the NHL and on Friday the Northampton Saints go head-to-head with Racing 92 in the first match of the European Rugby Champions Cup.
The weekend is also an exciting prospect for sports fans. UFC 269 takes place on Saturday, with Charles Oliveira taking on Dustin Poirier. Finally, Sunday marks the end of the Formula 1 season. Who will come away with the Drivers’ and Constructors' titles?
