The upcoming week is filled with exciting sporting events. The Detroit Lions play the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL on Monday, Bayer Leverkusen take on AC Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday, the Shanghai Masters begins on Wednesday, the Women’s T20 World Cup starts on Thursday, and Hull Kingston Rovers will lock horns with Warrington Wolves in the first Super League Semi-final on Friday.

Going into the weekend, Alex Pereira battles Khalil Rountree Jr. in UFC 307 on Saturday, and the Houston Texans host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

NFL: Detroit Lions v Seattle Seahawks

The Detroit Lions host the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, in Week 4 of the NFL season, at Ford Field. The Seahawks boast a perfect record winning three out of three games this season but are still wanting a win against a major team. The Lions will be the team that determines whether or not the Seahawks are the real deal in these early stages of the season.

UEFA Champions League: Bayer 04 Leverkusen v AC Milan

On Tuesday, German champions Bayer Leverkusen will take on AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League at BayArena. Leverkusen secured a dominant win against Feyenoord in their opening match of the competition and will aim to build on that. Meanwhile, Milan suffered a defeat to Liverpool and will be eager to get their first European victory of the season.

ATP Tour: Shanghai Masters

The ATP Shanghai Masters, the largest tennis tournament in Asia, gets underway on Wednesday at the Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai. Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Novak Djokovic are all expected to be in the mix for the tournament. Unfortunately, the defending champion, Hubert Hurkacz, will not be able to defend his title due to injury.

Women's T20 World Cup: Bangladesh Women v Scotland Women

Thursday sees the Women's T20 World Cup kick off with Bangladesh taking on Scotland in the opening game at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The Final is on the 20th of this month. Australia are the strong favourites again having won the previous three T20 World Cups. England and India will also back themselves to challenge for the title.

Super League: Hull Kingston Rovers v Warrington Wolves

Craven Park Stadium, Hull

Hull Kingston Rovers will battle Warrington Wolves on Friday in the first Super League Semi-final at Craven Park Stadium. Hull KR are favourites to win the game at home but Warrington will be full of confidence after winning a stunning eliminator clash against St Helens. The second Semi-final between Wigan Warriors and Leigh Leopards will be played on Saturday.

UFC: UFC 307: Pereira vs. Rountree Jr.

Saturday will see Alex Pereira defend his Light Heavyweight Championship against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Pereira has been on a dominant run winning all four of his fights since moving up a weight class. Meanwhile, Rountree Jr. is on a five-fight winning streak and will be confident he can win the title.

NFL: Houston Texans v Buffalo Bills

On Sunday, the Houston Texans will host the Buffalo Bills in NFL Week 5 action at NRG Stadium in Houston. This is a matchup between two plausible AFC Super Bowl contenders. Both teams, each with just one loss this season, are leading their divisions, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown.
