This Week in Sport: 24th January − 30th January 2022
The last full week of January is shaping up to be an exciting 7 days for sports fans around the world. On Monday, the Utah Jazz travel south to take on the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. The following day, on the other side of the Atlantic, Morocco face Malawi in the Africa Cup of Nations. Wednesday sees an early start to the Farmers Insurance Open, where the players will tee it up at the famous Torrey Pines.
The single Test in the Women’s Ashes series starts on Thursday, with England taking on Australia in Canberra. Friday sees the culmination of the Big Bash League, with the final marking the end of the near 2 month tournament.
The weekend is also an exciting sporting prospect with the world’s best tennis players battling it out for Australian Open glory, and the Los Angeles Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

Women’s Ashes: Australia Women v England Women (Test) Day 1
