There are some great sporting events taking place around the world this week. On Monday, the WTA Qatar Open moves into its second day, Tuesday sees Manchester City host Real Madrid in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Knockout Phase Play-off tie, and Everton take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday. The Genesis Invitational begins on Thursday, and the Crusaders play the Hurricanes in Super Rugby on Friday.

Wrapping up the week, Bayer Leverkusen battle Bayern Munich in an epic Bundesliga matchup on Saturday, and the NBA All Star Game will take place on Sunday.

Thursday will see the start of a PGA Tour signature event, the Genesis Invitational. The tournament hosted by Tiger Woods, tees off at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. He joins a star-studded field featuring World Number 1 Scottie Scheffler and defending champion Hideki Matsuyama.

Super Rugby: Crusaders v Hurricanes

NBA: All Star Game 2025

The week ends with the NBA All Star Game taking place on Sunday at the Chase Center in San Francisco. This season’s All Star Game will feature a mini-tournament with four teams playing three games between them to decide the winner. Two Semi-final winners will proceed to the Final. The first team to reach 40 points in each game is the winner. All the great players in the NBA will be taking part, making for an entertaining spectacle.
