Madison Square Garden, New York

Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs continues Monday, with Game 2 of the series between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks took an early series lead, winning Game 1 narrowly 111-104, with a strong fourth-quarter performance. They will be hoping to lead the series 2-0 after this one, before heading away from home for Game 3.

NHL: Winnipeg Jets v Colorado Avalanche

Tuesday 23rd April 1:30AM (24th) GMT/8:30PM Local Time

Canada Life Centre, Winnipeg

On Tuesday, the Winnipeg Jets host the Colorado Avalanche at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg for Game 2 of Round 1 of the NHL Playoffs. The Jets won Game 1 7-6, with Kyle Connor and Adam Lowry scoring two goals apiece for the hosts. The Avalanche will be looking to level the series in this one before heading home for Game 3.

Premier League: Everton v Liverpool

Wednesday 24th April 7:00PM GMT/8:00PM Local Time

Goodison Park, Liverpool

Wednesday will see exciting Premier League action with the Merseyside derby, as Everton host Liverpool at Goodison Park. After breaches of the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability rules, a total of eight points have been deducted from Everton; despite this, they are looking strong to avoid relegation, currently sitting five points above Luton in 18th with a game in hand. At the other end of the table, Liverpool sit equal on points with first place Arsenal, and one point above Manchester City in third, who have a game in hand, so they cannot afford to slip up in this one if they want to stay in the exciting title race.

NFL: NFL Draft Round 1

Thursday 25th April 12:00AM (26th) GMT/8:00PM Local Time

Detroit

The always anticipated NFL Draft will begin on Thursday at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit. The Chicago Bears have the first pick, followed by the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots; but expect trades and order changes as the first 32 players are taken off the board. All eyes will be on the event to see how the teams will shape up for the 2024 NFL season.

Caja Mágica, Madrid

On Friday, the WTA and ATP Tour’s Madrid Open will continue, with some of the best players in the world taking part in the tournament at Caja Mágica in Madrid. In the Women’s Singles, Aryna Sabalenka returns to defend her title from 2023, where she beat Iga Świątek in the Final, but will face tough competition from last year’s runner-up, as well as from Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina. In the Men’s Singles tournament, Carlos Alcaraz will look to lift the trophy again to become the first player to ever win three Madrid Opens in a row.

Women’s Six Nations: France Women v England Women

Saturday 27th April 3:45PM GMT/5:45PM Local Time

Stade Chaban-Delmas, Bordeaux

On Saturday, the Women’s Six Nations comes to its exciting conclusion as first and second place go head-to-head, with France hosting England at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux. Both sides have won all four of their matches so far, so the winner in this one will not only lift the trophy but win the Grand Slam too. Dominant England currently sit top, ahead by one point, as they have achieved a winning bonus point in all four games, whilst France have done so in three. This is sure to be an exhilarating finale.

Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal

Sunday 28th April 1:00PM GMT/2:00PM Local Time

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

The Premier League will see the North London derby take place on Sunday, as Tottenham Hotspur face Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. There has scarcely been a North London derby with more on the line than this one, with the hosts chasing the all-important fourth place to secure Champions League football next season, and Arsenal looking to put distance between themselves and Liverpool and Manchester City in second and third place, respectively.
